Beyond the Red Glow, Kata Tjuta (Limited Edition - Larapinta Light Collection)
I decided to title this image “Beyond the Red Glow”, as I think the angle of this shot shows how much more lies beyond the classic image of the Kata Tjuta domes. An other-worldy rock maze appears from miles of flat landscape.
Glowing in the late afternoon sun, the low light seems to pick up the different colours and textures of the varying rocks within the 36 domes. Thousands of years of erosion from wind and water have carved this ancient land.
