Epitome of Kakadu (Limited Edition - Exploring Nature's Way Collection)
This image to me is a beautiful representation of the spiritual landscapes found deep within Kakadu National Park. The habitat surrounding the eastern edge of Kakadu and the Arnhem Land Escarpment is one of the world’s most unique.
In the wet season, flying along the edge of the Arnhem Land escarpment reveals an almost secret garden! Waterfalls flow from the tabletop and jungles seem to sprout in impossible places from the cliff face. I’m happy to have captured these lesser-seen elements of Kakadu.
The muted, soft colours of the rocks are just some of the many colours the escarpment can appear, depending on the light. On an overcast day, the escarpment almost appears pink in contrast with the bright green landscape.
On this flight south from Jabiru, we had to dodge several rain showers on our route to Jim Jim and Twin Falls, but luckily we were able to fly past the escarpment home of Lightning Dreaming - with a perfectly positioned storm in the background.
Limited to 20 editions as part of the “Exploring Nature’s Way” Collection - A Journey through Kakadu, Nitmiluk & Litchfield National Parks. A collection of special images exploring the natural diversity found around Litchfield, Kakadu and Nitmiluk National Park areas and even the Darwin CBD.
The Top End is a unique landscape, and the aim of this collection is to showcase what we have to offer - even to those exploring “Nature’s Way” on a tight time frame. This collection has been compiled in conjunction with Louise’s coffee table book - “The Wonder of Nature’s Way” - a 200+ page book intended to dig deeper into the habitats and ecosystems explored in the region.

As a summary,
Rolled Fine Art Prints are pretty much what they say on the tin! A high quality, archive photographic paper which arrives rolled in a tube for you to frame in your desired frame type.
Canvas prints arrive ready to hang and are stretched around a wooden frame with a mirror wrapped edge.
Aluminium prints also arrive ready to hang with a "shadow mount" on the reverse. These are high definition, waterproof and scratch resistant.
Custom sizing by request.
Framing also by request. I handmake all of my own frames, but due to shipping challenges I prefer to keep these for a local pick up option. I can package and ship frames, but the cost will need to be organised on a case by case basis. I also often bring in different frames to try regularly so please get in touch if you'd like to see some current frame choices. Otherwise, please come and see them for yourself at the Waterfront Gallery!
