Known for its amazing Aboriginal Rock Art galleries, a walk around the ancient rocky outcrops and shelters is completed with a climb up to Nadab Lookout. The lookout towers over the open floodplains, and is one of the most popular places in the park to watch the sunset.
On this trip, I spent a couple of hours photographing the interesting rock formations before sunset.
My favourite shot from this visit was this capture, taken close to sunset. A sun star created in one of the many overhangs of Ubirr Rock, the sun sets over the floodplains from Nadab Lookout.
