Florence Falls Panorama
One of the most popular swimming holes in Litchfield National Park, this wide angle view of Florence Falls is composed of 10 photographs stitched together.
Captured one April, before the peak visitor season I visited Florence Falls three days in a row to achieve this image! The first day’s visit was at sunrise to scope out the best angles and compositions from the plunge pool. I realised the light wasn’t what I wanted, and the time of day I needed for photographing the falls was actually around 3pm in the afternoon. I wanted to achieve light on the cliff face and sunlight illuminating the surface of the water. Unfortunately for me, 2-3pm is peak visitor swimming time! So, the next couple of days were spent tripping to Florence Falls to capture the image I wanted … without swimmers in the photo!
On day three, I got lucky and managed to photograph the full vista of Florence Falls without people! There was a couple in the water whilst I was shooting, but I timed my series of shots to sequence in the opposite direction to the swimmers and captured each of the ten shots required without them in a shot.
I’m pretty happy with the resulting image! A photograph I can’t repeat now due to the introduction of a board walk and set of steps into the water on the right of this image.
Please be aware that this panorama is an extreme rectangle shape - ensure to check your dimensions before ordering.
Only available in larger sizes due to short image height when scaled down by ratio.

As a summary,
Rolled Fine Art Prints are pretty much what they say on the tin! A high quality, archive photographic paper which arrives rolled in a tube for you to frame in your desired frame type.
Canvas prints arrive ready to hang and are stretched around a wooden frame with a mirror wrapped edge.
Aluminium prints also arrive ready to hang with a "shadow mount" on the reverse. These are high definition, waterproof and scratch resistant.
Custom sizing by request.
Framing also by request. I handmake all of my own frames, but due to shipping challenges I prefer to keep these for a local pick up option. I can package and ship frames, but the cost will need to be organised on a case by case basis. I also often bring in different frames to try regularly so please get in touch if you'd like to see some current frame choices. Otherwise, please come and see them for yourself at one of my pop ups!
This image can be printed extra large!
For example as an art piece, the image can be split in to a series of panels to make up a piece that measures 2 or 3 metres wide. Alternatively, please get in touch to purchase the digital image file for use as a wallpaper or similar.
Because each customers' requirements and space is different, and each image has to be split up in the perfect way, you will need to get in touch to discuss your requirements.
