Mirror & Light, Ormiston Gorge (Limited Edition - Larapinta Light Collection)
One of my favourite gorges in Central Australia, with a permanent waterhole surrounded by gnarly ghost gums in the shadow of stunning red rock. At sunrise and sunset the gorge is quiet except for the sound of budgies in the gum trees, and the soft light seems to bounce off the red walls bathing the landscape in a rich glow.
The water levels here fluctuate, and on this trip I was lucky enough to be able to capture the stillness in the mirror reflections of these beautiful trees and patterns in the gorge cliffs.
Ormiston Gorge will forever hold a special place with me, it’s just magical!
