Serene Contrast (Limited Edition - Exploring Nature's Way Collection)

from A$125.00

I’m not sure how an image can be serene, yet also full of contrast. Somehow, this photograph is it. The turquoise calm water of Fannie Bay is definitely nothing short of serene.

The contrast component of the image for me is between the opposing colours of blue and orange. In nature, I believe this to be a fairly rare contrast, yet in Darwin and the Top End it can be found in many places! Ochre rocks are something I associate with being quintessentially synonymous with the Top End.

Limited to 20 editions as part of the “Exploring Nature’s Way” Collection -  A Journey through Kakadu, Nitmiluk & Litchfield National Parks. A collection of special images exploring the natural diversity found around Litchfield, Kakadu and Nitmiluk National Park areas and even the Darwin CBD.

The Top End is a unique landscape, and the aim of this collection is to showcase what we have to offer - even to those exploring “Nature’s Way” on a tight time frame. This collection has been compiled in conjunction with Louise’s coffee table book - “The Wonder of Nature’s Way” - a 200+ page book intended to dig deeper into the habitats and ecosystems explored in the region.

As a summary,

Rolled Fine Art Prints are pretty much what they say on the tin! A high quality, archive photographic paper which arrives rolled in a tube for you to frame in your desired frame type.

Canvas prints arrive ready to hang and are stretched around a wooden frame with a mirror wrapped edge.

Aluminium prints also arrive ready to hang with a "shadow mount" on the reverse. These are high definition, waterproof and scratch resistant.

Custom sizing by request.

Framing also by request. I handmake all of my own frames, but due to shipping challenges I prefer to keep these for a local pick up option. I can package and ship frames, but the cost will need to be organised on a case by case basis. I also often bring in different frames to try regularly so please get in touch if you'd like to see some current frame choices. Otherwise, please come and see them for yourself at the Waterfront Gallery!
